Nodira Akhmedova — Medalist at the China Open G-1 International Tournament

Kazakhstan’s taekwondo athlete Nodira Akhmedova has won a bronze medal at the China Open G-1 international tournament held in Changsha, China.

Competing in the women’s -53 kg weight category, Akhmedova secured a victory in the quarter-final to advance to the semi-finals, where she faced China’s Zuo Ju, a two-time World Championship medallist. Following her semi-final bout, Akhmedova finished the tournament with a bronze medal.

The China Open G-1 brought together 279 athletes representing nearly 30 countries.
