Kazakhstan Finishes in the Top Three of the Medal Standings at the World Taekwondo President’s Cup – Asian Region

Kazakhstan’s national taekwondo team has finished third in the medal standings at the G-3 World Taekwondo President’s Cup – Asian Region, which concluded in Lahore, Pakistan.

Kazakh athletes secured five medals at the tournament — two gold and three bronze. Iran topped the overall medal standings, with the Republic of Korea finishing second and Kazakhstan completing the top three.

The gold medals for Kazakhstan were won by Nazym Makhmutova in the -73 kg category and Batyrkhan Toleugali in the -87 kg category. Nurai Bauyrzhanova, Rita Bakisheva and Azim Niyazov claimed bronze medals.

With this result, Kazakhstan concluded the international tournament in Lahore among the top three nations in the medal standings, further demonstrating the team’s high level of performance at a World Taekwondo ranking event.
