Nazym Makhmutova Crowned Champion at the World Taekwondo President’s Cup – Asian Region

Kazakhstan’s taekwondo athlete Nazym Makhmutova has won the gold medal at the G-3 World Taekwondo President’s Cup tournament currently taking place in Lahore, Pakistan.

In the semi-final, Makhmutova defeated South Korea’s Oh Seung-gyu 2–0. In the final, she overcame Saudi Arabia’s Saber Dunya Bushuaib to claim the title in the women’s -73 kg weight category.

With this victory, Nazym Makhmutova secured the gold medal for Kazakhstan at the prestigious World Taekwondo event.
