Altay Championships is an annual international taekwondo tournament held within the framework of cooperation among member countries of the Altaic Taekwondo Union. The competition brings together athletes from Altaic and Turkic regions, including Turkey, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, South Korea, Russia, and Japan.
The tournament will be held among junior and senior categories and is one of the key events in the Altaic Union calendar. As part of the tournament, a General Assembly, referees' seminar, and a cultural program aimed at developing taekwondo and strengthening international cooperation will be organized.
The Altaic Cup contributes to improving athletes' performance, promoting the exchange of experience, and strengthening sports and cultural ties among participating countries.
